Unified Technicians was founded in January 2011 by Alex Oosterman. Naturally skilled with technology from as far back as he can remember Alex started working in the IT industry from the age of 15. With a vast array of experience his last job — prior to starting Unified Technicians — focused on IT support in the SMB sector where Alex quickly noticed a pattern within the industry that many of the highly skilled technicians were self-employed.

 

Unified Technicians was created as a coalition of Independent IT contractors with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction and fast response times. We always believe our customers are absolutely priority one. We work with you, our customers, to fully understand your business model and how IT plays a role in your company. Many IT service providers are quick to recommend a cookie-cutter type solution for all of their clients regardless of size requirements. We believe each company is distinctive and as such has IT requirements that must be tailored to fit them.

 

We established ourselves to be different from other IT service providers. Any business can hire highly-skilled engineers, or post a website promising the world, but how many companies actually deliver on all their promises while exceeding customer expectations? Not many. We believe that in the day and age of technology that the human element should never be overlooked. For this reason we assign 1 to 2 dedicated engineers that thoroughly understand each client’s system.

 

We can readily relate to many of our clients because of our compact size. Chances are we may have been through some of the same growing pains. We don’t only see the technical side of business concerns but the financial costs too.
